Hi friends,
Today I wanted to share a new series of upcycled furniture we have been working on. I had a few tables with damaged tops that needed some sort of fun update. I love all the ideas I've seen lately on Pinterest adding old maps to table tops. Instead of maps we thought it would be fun to give a shout out to our awesome city of Chicago and use vintage tourism posters. These pieces when from blah to unique-ly Chicago.
Here are the first two finished pieces:
Before: Nice lines, but abused. |
Black Lacquer added. |
Finished with the "Chicago Has Everything" poster. $129.99 |
Here's #2 before: Nice wood, but boring |
Finished black metallic paint, lacquer, and Vintage Transportation Poster. $99.99 |
I have a few other posters waiting, so watch for more to come...
